How we collect information about you?
When you register to receive our e-newsletter we will collect your personal data (full name, company name, as appropriate, postal address, email address) given at that time. We will also collect information when you participate in our Trade or Consumer competitions or provide us with feedback about the resorts Essential Detail represent.
How will we use the information about you?
We collect your personal data to provide information on the properties Essential Detail represent via our e-newsletters, or through personal contact with our office. Primarily your information will be used for the purpose of promoting the hotels and the services they have to offer. We may also use your information to improve our website and to perform statistical analysis.
Your data may be passed on to our hotels in the event that further information is required to facilitate any query you may have given us directly (ie: booking request, passing on special requests directly to the hotel) otherwise your data will not be passed on to a 3rd party.
How long will be retain your information?
E-newsletter – we retain the details you used to sign up for as long as you remain subscribed.
In other circumstances, we will retain your information for no longer than necessary.
Storage of your information
We use Office 365 to store your emails. Your full contact information is stored in-house with appropriate protection in place. Our e-newsletters are currently sent using Mailchimp.
Access to your information and correction
