Meet Grenada's New 'A' Team!

One of our favorite luxury Caribbean hotels, the Calabash in Grenada is excited to annouce a new generation at the helm...

Zachary Samuel – Resort Manager.  Calabash is delighted to announce the appointment of Zack as their new Resort Manager.  Zack’s main focus will be guest relations and ensuring that service levels will reach a new high, so that Calabash will continue to exceed their guest’s expectations.  Zack has been an integral part of Grenada’s hospitality sector, from senior positions at La Source to developing some of the island’s tourist attractions.


Beth Garbutt – Food & Beverage.  After university Beth attended a course at the famous Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, and has joined the team at the Calabash heading up the Food & Beverage department.  Beth will be working alongside Gary Rhodes Executive Chef, Dexter as well as Chef Mark B at the Bash Restaurant, ensuring Calabash’s dining experience is one not to be forgotten.

Adele Garbutt – Sales & Marketing.  Adele is now based at the hotel and will continue to handle all aspects of Calabash’s Sales & Marketing initiatives worldwide.


The new ‘A’ team, as we call them at the Essential Hotel Collection, promises to

bring a refreshing new energy to the Calabash, under the

guardianship of ‘world class hotelier’ Leo Garbutt!
