Cap Maiosn in St Lucia is proud to annouce the first Guest Chef for the season - Neil Hitchen from the UK.
Neil currently owns and cooks at the award winning Berkeley Arms in Wymondham, Leicestershire. Neil and his wife Louise took over the 16th century inn five years ago.
Having received a 'Bib Gourmand' from the Michelin Guide in 2011, Neil and his team have continued to receive this award each year since. Aswell as the 'Inspectors Favourite' in the Eating in Pubs Guild by Michelin. The pub is recommended yearly in 'The Good Food Guide', 'Hardens Food Guide', 'The Good Pub Guide' and Alistair Sawday's 'Pubs & Inns Guide'.

Prior to owning the Berkley Arms, Neil was head chef for three years at Michelin starred 'Le Poussin' at Whitley Rodge (now The Pig) in the New Forest Hampshire.
Neil spent four years in the Caribbean as Executive Chef in two prestigious Relais & Chateaux hotels, Cobblers Cove, Barbadfos and Biras Creek Resort in the British Virgin Islands.
Prior to the Caribbean , Neil spent three years cooking at The frelais & Chateaux Fearrington House, Norh Carolina.
