Cap Maison’s Executive Chef Craig Jones will be heading over to the UK this summer, taking some St Lucia flavours with him. Craig will be taking the helm in the kitchen of one of Brighton’s top restaurants, the restaurant at drakes, for one night only on Wednesday 26 August.

The beloved Welsh Rastafarian chef will be joining Drakes’ chef, Andy Mackenzie, to create a St Lucian-inspired gourmet menu showcasing his award winning culinary skills. The three-course dinner will be seafood-focused as both hotel restaurants are by the seaside; Drakes is located directly on the Brighton seafront near the iconic Brighton Pier. The menu will be accompanied by specially selected English and Sussex wines to match, Cap’s own rum punch, coffee and chocolate truffle from Rabot Estate in St Lucia and our solera-blended rum to finish.

This exciting gastronomic event is all part of the Brighton Food Festival’s International Chef Exchange which sees UK chefs swapping kitchens with international chefs across the globe. Drakes’ chef Andy will be flying over to St Lucia in October for a ‘Taste of Sussex’ weekend – watch this space!
