East Winds Inn is the perfect place to take a luxurious holiday but is also an ideal setting to paint and draw! Any artist, whether that be professional or amateur could be there for hours in its beautiful gardens, which is set in 12 tropical acres with over 100 different species of plant life and 30 species of birds. Guests can take a nature walk which meanders through these gardens, viewing the exotic flora and fauna. It is an artists dream, which is why the hotel had put together an Artist in Residence Week at East Winds Inn with British Wildlife artist Brin Edwards 14 – 21 September 2014

Brin Edwards is a professional painter and illustrator and has worked for many book and magazine publishers. He also runs his own art studio in Suffolk which is where he delivers many workshop painting courses. For those of you who have stayed at East Winds Inn, you may even reconise his work - every year Brin paints a picture of the resort which is then made into a Christmas card and sent to guests.  For further details about Brin Edwards and his work click here
